The sensor of the device is anti-rust and anti-corrosive, also the device is IPX6 certified for water resistance. There is a monochrome LCD that displays the TDS reading. The pen which can test the quality of the water, it also determines whether purification is required. Also Mi TDS Pen reacts to organic compounds, and heavy metals like nickel, chromium etc. and soluble salt content.
